Radical move by PC Magazine: Going 100% digital

PC Magazine recently published an open letter to its readers announcing that the publication will no longer be available in print. Beginning in February, all subscribers will receive their copy of PC Magazine via email. This new version will mimic the style and format of the printed version, and will offer virtual page-turning, and an interactive Table of Contents.

The letter, which was signed (digitally, of course) by Lance Ulanoff, Editor-in-Chief, cites that the cost of traditional printing and delivery "was turning the creation of a physical product into an untenable business proposition." Ulanoff also touts reader benefits such portability and environmental responsibility. Read the letter.
