Usability: You know it when you see it

What makes a web site a good web site?


Usability, of course. People have to like what they see and be able to get what they want in a relatively short period of time. You may know a good web site when you see it, but what are the actual individual components that go into the design of a site that everyone likes to visit and use?


According to Cliff Kuang, usability begins with a set of crucial questions, and a tendency toward conservative design.
